Daring Greatly Week 2 - Following Directions By Mooi Mthethwa : God’s plan for His people has always included taking more ‘ground’ as their inheritance. In the Old Testament this was a physical place (the land of Canaan).
In the New Testament it is a spiritual inheritance – all that God has for us which will last for eternity.
The book of Joshua provides some powerful lessons on what God is looking for in His people. This is in order for them to be a faith-filled, ground-taking, giant-defeating kind of people!

This Sunday, Steph Bester shared an encouraging message, starting at the place of surrender - the place where our relationship with Christ really starts.
Jesus took our place as a living sacrifice, washing away our sins and making a way for us back to the Father. But it doesn't stop there. The Gospel has the power to transform our lives when we are willing to surrender our trust to Jesus.

Week 6: Don't Make The Same Mistake By Steve Wimble - Imagine walking and talking with Jesus when He was on earth. He was radically different. He remonstrated with the uber-religious leaders of the day but also had time to hang out with children. He performed miracles and yet many did not believe in Him. He taught with authority, but many failed to see the power of His words. Each year we take six weeks to look at two more chapters of Matthew’s Gospel to find out what Jesus taught and did so that we can emulate Him! In this series, we're focussing on Matthew, chapters 18 & 19.

In the Bible, all four Gospels tell us the amazing story of Jesus’ resurrection. This Easter Sunday we looked at what John the apostle wrote (John 20).
What is really interesting is that he tells the story of two witnesses to the resurrection back-to-back - Mary Magdalene and Thomas: Mary Magdalene was the first person to see Jesus after His resurrection.
Thomas was the last person of Jesus’ inner circle to see Him. Both of them (along with all the disciples) had spent the weekend in shock and devastation, and in no doubt processed it in different ways (as all of us do).
